The Situation
Custom Industrial Products of Melbourne, wished to replace 92 – 4’ 4 lamp fluorescent fixtures in their warehouse area with 25’ high ceilings. The lighting levels were below recommended levels for the area. Each fixture contained 4 – FP54t5 fluorescent lamps and 4 lamp electronic ballast.
The Solution
Lisa and Andrew of Florida Bulb & Ballast, Inc., quoted ETi 180 watt LED Linear Highbay Fixtures as a direct replacement for the 4 lamp T5 fluorescent fixtures. Replacing the 216 watts per fluorescent fixture to a 180 watts LED greatly increasing the overall light levels to acceptable levels while reducing energy consumption by over 3000 Watts. Custom Industrial Products readily agreed with Lisa and Andrew’s recommendations and put the job in motion.

The Bottom Line and Green Effect
When Andrew and Lisa of Florida Bulb & Ballast, Inc. first analyzed the project, they had to take the whole facility into consideration with concern for the 25’ high ceilings, the lack of outdoor openings and the racking system in place. Their objective was to find a high lumen fixture with a linear model that would greatly increase the light output. ETi LED Lighting had the solution. Working diligently with the ETi factory, a stellar fixture was sent for sample.The client was thrilled beyond expectation at how the warehouse went from gloomy to stunningly bright, an instant success!
