Conway Plaza, Orlando, Florida

Lighting Project Specialist:  Michael Hoffman

BVT Management Services, Inc. contacted Michael Hoffman of Florida Bulb & Ballast directly to handle the poor lighting at New Market – Conway Plaza in Orlando, Florida. The plaza needed to replace HID MH1000 watt fixtures with LED fixtures, requiring replacement tenon adapters in various head types, post top adapters as well as new LED security light wall packs, flood lights, canopy lights, and retrofitting to LED pylon signs and 6” down cans. The job was extensive with quite a few moving parts for which Michael had to pay close attention to every minute detail.

The Solution
Michael specified LSI LED Fixtures for the MH1000 watt replacements, Envoy Lighting for the flood lights, Sylvania for the wall packs and 6” down cans and Satco Lighting for the Corn Cobb and pylon sign LED replacements. FB&B worked with Smitty’s Welding of Melbourne, Florida, for the post top adapters.

The Bottom Line and Green Effect
BVT Management Services chose to change out the existing HID, compact fluorescent and incandescent light fixtures to energy-efficient LED lighting for the Conway Plaza facility. Having a “Green Wise” anchor store in Publix, it was appropriate for BVT Management Services to upgrade to modern LED Lighting and to partner with Michael Hoffman of Florida Bulb & Ballast, Inc. and their 30 years’ experience in premium LED lighting options.
